ABOUT US
Home Companions is a
family owned and operated company, that was founded in
1989 by Nira and Gene Ausman. Nira's background as a
Certified Nurse's Assistant (CNA) gave her a first-hand
understanding of the needs of senior adults who had
varying levels of ability in meeting their daily life
needs. She began Home Companions because she saw a need
for caring, competent help that would allow seniors to
remain in the homes where they were happy.
Home
Companions assists seniors and frail elderly
with everyday tasks like going to the store,
taking out the trash, remembering to take
medications, preparing a simple meal, basic
housekeeping chores, or transportation to
doctor's appointments or social activities.
